Sanctuary Reopening Guidelines

We will be following guidelines given to us by our state and local representatives, and the CDC.

Guidelines (From the car to a seat in the worship center)

  • The doors will open at 11;30am and service will begin at 12:00
  • We ask that everyone planning to attend service would arrive 15 to 30 minutes before service begins to ensure enough time for safety precautions to take place
  • Follow instructions from our parking lot attendants upon entering the lot
  • Get out of your car and proceed to one of the two entry lines on the sidewalk
  • Stand on one of the X’s that are 6ft apart.
  • Move up to the next X as those in front of you move.
  • When you get to the final X your temperature will be taken
  • If your temperature registers 100 degrees or higher we are not allowed to permit you to come inside
  • If you are not wearing a mask, we are not allowed to permit you to come inside
  • If you do not have a mask and need a mask, contact Tina Garriot at 812-374-2040.
  • You will then be directed to a guide in the lobby
  • The guide will then direct you to an entrance into the Worship Center
  • Another guide inside the Worship Center will direct you to an usher who will seat you
  • You will be seated as a household 
  • You will sit where our ushers direct you and not switch seats throughout service.
  • There will be seating available in every other row and there will be at least 3 seats between households in each row 
  • Please use hand sanitizer as you enter the Worship Center. Hand sanitizer is located on the wall when you walk in the Worship Center.
  • Dismissal
  • You will be dismissed by row, please stay seated until instructed.
  • If you would like to give an offering, a basket will be available at both exits for you to drop your offering into 

Managing Social Distancing 

  • No person with a fever, cough, or flu-like symptoms should attend services at this time.
  • Vulnerable populations should not attend live services until government regulations give a release.
  • If one of these do attend at their own risk, UNDER NO CONDITION should any person, including children approach or crowd them. This includes persons over the age of 65 or those with underlying health conditions.
  • The following areas will be closed to EVERYONE
  • Cafe seating
  • Lobby seating 
  • Library
  • Life Center 
  • Nursery 
  • Water fountains
  • Marked bathroom stalls and sinks
  • Parents must keep children next to them at all times. No child can leave their parents' side
  • Please instruct children not to approach anyone other than those in their household
  • Please do not stop in the aisle to have discussions. All aisles including the one across the back of the Worship Center must be free flowing.
  • Please do not have discussions or approach another person unless you are at least 6 feet apart.
  • Please do not take offense if another person does not choose to stop and talk with you
  • If you choose to enter the altar area you must remain at least 6 feet apart.
  • No one will approach to pray for people praying in the altar unless you live in the same household or are an appointed leader to do so (No close friends, distant relatives, etc)
  • Appointed leaders will not touch individuals while praying with those at the altar

Managing Sanitization

  • There are hand sanitizer stations at the entrance of the auditorium and on each side of the altar area.
  • Restrooms
  • Please come with the expectation of not using the restroom unless it is an emergency
  • Please do not use any stall or sink that is marked off for use
  • A bathroom monitor will limit the amount of people allowed in each bathroom at one time
  • A bathroom monitor will sanitize the handle and toilet after each use
  • All hard surfaces are disinfected  before and after service
